If you're running a small business on WhatsApp in SEA and looking at chatbot tools, two names come up: ManyChat and Replai. Both can answer customers. Both can capture leads. Both have AI features. But they're built for fundamentally different audiences — and that difference matters more than the feature list.

This is a comparison from the Replai team. We've tried to be fair to ManyChat (it's a great tool for its core audience), but we obviously have a perspective. Read the prescriptions with that in mind.

Both tools reach the same WhatsApp customers but bill differently. What does ManyChat do better than Replai?

Established at scale. Hundreds of thousands of business users. Mature integrations with Shopify, HubSpot, basically every CRM. If you're running a large business that lives on Facebook Messenger or Instagram DMs, ManyChat is the obvious choice.
