Quick answer
Wati's price depends on where you open the page. Growth is $69 a month, or $59 billed annually, on the US and UAE list, and $49 or $39 in most of Asia and Africa; Pro is $149 or $119 and Business $349 or $279. AI replies to customers are an add-on, and Meta's per-message fees are charged on top.
- Growth includes three users with no option to add more; Pro and Business include five.
- AI answers to customers are an add-on at $60 per 1,000 on the US list.
- Extra automation triggers cost $40 per 1,000 a month on the US list.
- Wati does not publish its markup over Meta's rate card, so treat Meta's rate as the floor.
Wati's pricing page shows you a different price depending on the country you open it from. The three plans are the same everywhere, but a visitor in New York or Dubai sees one set of numbers, a visitor in Jakarta or Casablanca sees a lower set, and India, Brazil, Mexico and Malaysia each get their own currency and their own list. That's why the Wati prices you find online disagree with each other.
This post lays out the lists as Wati published them in September 2026, what each plan includes, what Meta charges on top, and two realistic months for a small team. Where a number isn't published, it says so.
The three plans
Business is shown as "custom" on the page, but Wati's own price list carries a figure for it, so it's included below. All prices are per month, as of September 2026, from Wati's pricing page.
| Plan | US and UAE list (USD) | Indonesia, Morocco and most of Asia and Africa (USD) | India (INR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Growth | $69 monthly, $59 billed annually | $49 monthly, $39 billed annually | ₹2,999 monthly, ₹2,199 billed annually |
| Pro | $149 monthly, $119 billed annually | $99 monthly, $79 billed annually | ₹6,499 monthly, ₹4,899 billed annually |
| Business | $349 monthly, $279 billed annually | $249 monthly, $199 billed annually | ₹18,499 monthly, ₹14,799 billed annually |
On monthly billing, Brazil sees R$369, R$749 and R$1,849; Mexico sees MX$1,049, MX$2,099 and MX$5,299; Malaysia sees RM399, RM1,099 and RM3,599. India also gets a pay-as-you-go "Single User Plan": ₹999 one time, returned as message credits for up to about 500 messages, valid for three months, for businesses that only send campaigns.
Annual billing takes between about 15 and 27 percent off depending on plan and region, and adds free dedicated onboarding. There's a 7-day free trial and no setup fee.
What each plan includes
Growth is the entry point: 3 users with no option to add more, an omnichannel inbox (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, a web widget), 15,000 broadcasts a month, 1,000 free automation triggers, 250 AI co-pilot credits, two integrations, 10,000 API calls with no webhooks, click-to-WhatsApp ads and 24x5 email support.
Pro raises that to 5 users, unlimited broadcasts, 2,000 triggers, 500 AI credits, five integrations including HubSpot, 200,000 API calls with limited webhooks, advanced chatbots and forms, retargeting, carousel templates, team routing, and 24x7 email and chat support. Wati's Astra AI agents are available here as a separately priced add-on.
Business keeps 5 users and adds 5,000 triggers, 1,500 AI credits, unlimited integrations including Salesforce, 20 million API calls with full webhooks, multiple WhatsApp numbers with round-robin assignment, number masking, 4,000 messages a minute, volume discounts on messaging and a dedicated success manager.
Note what isn't in any plan: AI replies to customers. The included credits are co-pilot suggestions for your agents; automated answers are a separate meter, covered below.
What does Meta charge per WhatsApp message?
Since July 2025 Meta charges per delivered template message rather than per 24-hour conversation: marketing, utility and authentication templates are charged, replies to a customer within 24 hours of their last message are free, utility templates inside that window are free, and anything within 72 hours of a click-to-WhatsApp ad is free. The rate depends on the customer's country. These are Meta's published rates in USD as of September 2026:
| Customer's market | Marketing | Utility or authentication |
|---|---|---|
| India | $0.0118 | $0.0014 |
| Indonesia | $0.0411 | $0.0250 |
| Brazil | $0.0625 | $0.0068 |
| Mexico | $0.0305 | $0.0085 |
| UAE | $0.0499 | $0.0157 |
| Malaysia | $0.0860 | $0.0140 |
| Morocco (Rest of Africa) | $0.0225 | $0.0040 |
Wati doesn't pass these through at cost. Each plan says "per message charges vary for marketing, utility & authentication" and links to a Wati rate card PDF by region; the markup over Meta is not published on the pricing page. Read Meta's number as the floor and Wati's card as somewhere above it, with volume discounts on Business.
What does Wati cost in a real month?
Take a dental clinic in Dubai on the US and UAE list: mostly patients writing in, plus appointment reminders and the occasional promotion.
200 conversations a month. Say 140 are patients writing in (free at Meta), 40 are reminders sent outside the 24-hour window (utility) and 20 are promotions (marketing). Meta's charge is 40 × $0.0157 plus 20 × $0.0499, about $1.63. On Growth at $69 a month the bill is roughly $70.63, plus whatever Wati's rate card adds. Billed annually it's about $60.63.
1,000 conversations a month. Say 600 inbound, 250 utility and 150 marketing. Meta's charge is about $3.93 plus $7.49, so $11.42. Growth includes 1,000 automation triggers and a chatbot that greets every thread will run past that, so add 1,000 triggers at $25 on the UAE list ($40 on the US list): roughly $105 on Growth, or about $160 on Pro if you need advanced chatbots and five seats, plus Wati's margin on the messages.
At small-business volume the subscription and add-ons are the bill and Meta's fees are small change, except for broadcasting. If all 1,000 messages were marketing templates, Meta alone would be $49.90 in the UAE, $86 in Malaysia and $11.80 in India, before Wati's markup.
Add-ons and overages
On the US list, as of September 2026: extra automation triggers $40 per 1,000 a month; AI co-pilot credits $30 per 1,000 a month; AI "KnowBot" answers to customers $60 per 1,000 a month; an additional WhatsApp number $29 a month on Pro and Business; the Shopify integration $4.99 a month; extra users $39 on Pro and $89 on Business per user per month. The Asia and Africa USD list is cheaper: $25, $20, $30, $29, $4.99, and $24 or $59 for users. Astra AI agents are "priced separately" with no figure on the page. Dedicated onboarding is a custom one-time fee unless you're on an annual plan.
Setup and contracts
Wati is an official Meta Business Solution Provider, so you're on the WhatsApp Business API: a Meta Business Manager account, business verification for the green badge and higher sending limits, and message templates approved by Meta before you can send them. Wati calls its setup "zero-fee" and helps with the blue-tick application.
Who Wati is right for
Wati fits a team of three to five agents that broadcasts to an opted-in list every week, wants the green verified badge, and needs HubSpot, Salesforce or Shopify wired in. If that's you, the price is fair for what you get.
It fits less well if you're a one- or two-person business whose WhatsApp is mostly customers asking questions: you'd pay $49 to $69 a month for an inbox, then buy AI answers by the thousand, for a problem that has nothing to do with broadcasting.
Replai compared
Replai is built for that second group. It pairs to the WhatsApp number you already have as a linked device, the same way WhatsApp Web does, so there's no API application, no business verification and no per-message fee from Meta. Plans are a flat $19, $49 or $99 a month with the AI included: Starter covers 120 conversations a cycle on one number, Growth 300 across up to three numbers with outbound campaigns, Pro 600 across up to five. A conversation is up to five bot replies in one thread, and a top-up of 100 is $9, or $8 on Growth and $7 on Pro. The Dubai clinic's 200-conversation month fits Growth at $49; the 1,000-conversation month is Pro plus four top-ups at the Pro rate, $127, or a Managed plan.
The limits are real. Replai doesn't give you the green verified badge, doesn't send Meta-approved broadcast templates, and runs on an unofficial WhatsApp library, so a ban risk exists that Wati's official route doesn't carry. Replai's warm-up and rate limits reduce that risk; they don't remove it. If you need the badge or template broadcasts to thousands, pay Wati. If you need your inbox answered, try the 7-day trial at replai.pm with no card.
