AiSensy pricing in 2026: plans, markups and what small businesses pay

AiSensy's Free, Basic and Pro plans in rupees and dollars, its per-message rates next to Meta's own, the chatbot and AI add-ons, and two worked monthly bills.

Quick answer

AiSensy costs $45 a month for Basic and $99 for Pro outside India, with a free forever tier that includes the API and the blue tick application. The chatbot builder is $80 a month and the AI agent $99, both on top of any plan. Indian users pay about 26 percent above Meta's per-message rate card.

  • Outside India Basic is $45 a month and Pro $99; the rupee list is far cheaper.
  • No AiSensy plan includes a bot: the chatbot builder is $80 and the AI agent $99.
  • Indian users pay about 26 percent above Meta's rate card on charged template messages.
  • One campaign to 1,000 Indian contacts costs about $12.80 in message charges alone.

AiSensy's pitch is a free plan and a rupee price that looks tiny next to the rest of the WhatsApp API market. Two things decide what you actually pay. The first is which price list you're on: AiSensy publishes one in rupees for India and one in dollars for everyone else, and they aren't the same number converted. The second is the per-message rate, which sits above Meta's own rate card for every charged category.

This post sets out both price lists as AiSensy published them in September 2026, what's in each plan, what's sold separately, and two worked months.

What do AiSensy's plans cost in 2026?

From AiSensy's pricing page, as of September 2026. All billing is pre-paid; quarterly billing takes 5 percent off and yearly takes 10 percent off.

Yearly, Basic is ₹16,200 or $486 and Pro is ₹34,560 or $1,069.20. Extra agents are ₹750 or $20 a month each. At a rough ₹85 to the dollar, ₹1,500 is about $18, so the dollar list is roughly two and a half times the rupee list for the same plan. Outside India, the dollar column is your price.

What each plan includes

Free Forever gets you the API through AiSensy with no procurement fee, a blue tick application, 1,000 free Meta ad credits, ₹50 of message credits, unlimited free service conversations, the click-to-WhatsApp ads manager, unlimited contacts, templates and a live chat dashboard. It doesn't include broadcasting.

Basic adds broadcasting and retargeting, audience segmentation with 2 saved segments, the campaign manager, template message APIs, multi-agent live chat with agent transfer, Shopify and WooCommerce integrations, a shared team inbox and 1 GB of media storage.

Pro raises the limits to 100 tags, 20 attributes and 10 segments, and adds the campaign scheduler, click tracking, smart agent routing, budget analytics, project APIs, custom agent rules, user access control and automatic retry of failed messages.

Premium and Unlimited are about speed and seats: 250 or 1,000 messages a second, more agents, number masking, reports, webhooks and a dedicated account manager.

What no plan includes is a chatbot or an AI agent. The drag-and-drop chatbot builder is ₹2,500 or $80 a month (₹2,250 or $72 billed yearly) for 5 chatbots. The AI agent builder is ₹3,500 or $99 a month (₹3,150 or $89.10 yearly) with 3,500 AI messages a month. Both are charged on top of any plan, including Free Forever. An Indian virtual number is ₹2,000 plus GST a year.

Per-message charges

Meta has billed per delivered template message since July 2025. Replies to a customer within 24 hours of their message are free, utility templates inside that window are free, and anything within 72 hours of a click-to-WhatsApp ad is free. Marketing, utility and authentication templates outside those windows are charged at the customer's market rate.

AiSensy's page lists its rates for Indian users and calls them Meta's revised pricing effective 1 January 2026. Meta's own INR rate card lists lower figures. Both as published in September 2026:

CategoryAiSensy (Indian users)Meta's INR rate cardDifference
Marketing₹1.09₹0.8631₹0.2269, about 26%
Utility₹0.145₹0.115₹0.03, about 26%
Authentication₹0.145₹0.115₹0.03, about 26%
ServiceFreeFree

The page doesn't call that gap a markup; it's simply the rate you're charged. For users outside India the page says the rate depends on the country and points to a separate sheet, so those rates are not published on the pricing page. Meta's published dollar rates are the floor: a marketing message is $0.0411 in Indonesia, $0.0625 in Brazil, $0.0305 in Mexico, $0.0499 in the UAE, $0.0860 in Malaysia and $0.0225 in Morocco, with utility and authentication from $0.0040 to $0.0250.

Message credits are recharged separately; you get ₹50 at signup, and a minimum balance of ₹10 or $1 keeps chatbots and automations running.

What does AiSensy cost in a real month?

One rule decides both months below. Since 1 July 2025 the WhatsApp Business Platform has charged per delivered template message, whether marketing, utility or authentication, while non-template replies inside the 24-hour customer service window are free (Meta for Developers, 2025). That is why the inbound half of each month costs nothing and only the reminders and promotions show up on the meter.

Take a Jaipur clothing brand on Basic, on the rupee list, converting at a rough ₹85 to the dollar.

200 conversations a month. Say 100 are customers writing in (free), 60 are order updates sent after the 24-hour window (utility) and 40 are promotions (marketing). Message charges: 60 × ₹0.145 plus 40 × ₹1.09, about ₹52, or 62 cents. With Basic at ₹1,500 the month is about ₹1,552, roughly $18. Add the chatbot builder and it's ₹4,052, about $48; add the AI agent builder instead and it's ₹5,052, about $59.

1,000 conversations a month. Say 500 inbound, 300 utility and 200 marketing. Message charges: ₹43.50 plus ₹218, about ₹261 or $3. With Basic that's about ₹1,761, roughly $21, and about ₹5,261, or $62, with the AI agent builder.

Broadcasting is the real meter. One campaign to 1,000 Indian contacts costs ₹1,090 on AiSensy, about $12.80, against ₹863 at Meta's rate: a ₹227 gap per thousand. Four campaigns a month to 5,000 people is about ₹21,800 in message charges, of which roughly ₹4,500 is the gap between AiSensy's rate and Meta's.

AiSensy's rates against Meta's card: 1.09 rupees versus 0.8631 for marketing, and 0.145 versus 0.115 for utility and authentication, each about 26 percent higher. Below, a bar showing that four campaigns a month to 5,000 people costs 21,800 rupees, of which 4,500 is the gap.
The gap is a flat 26 percent across every charged category. It only becomes a real number when you broadcast.

Outside India, the same brand pays $45 for Basic plus its market's Meta rate plus AiSensy's unpublished margin.

Setup and contracts

AiSensy is a Meta Business Solution Provider, so you're on the official API: a Meta Business Manager account, business verification for the blue tick and higher sending limits, and templates approved by Meta before you can send them. AiSensy applies for the API and the blue tick on your behalf at no fee.

Who AiSensy is right for

An Indian brand that lives on broadcasts, retargeting and click-to-WhatsApp ads, with a small team on the shared inbox, gets a genuinely cheap platform: ₹1,500 to ₹3,200 a month and a 26 percent margin on messages it would be sending anyway. The free plan is a real way to get the API and the blue tick without paying for software.

It's a weaker fit if your WhatsApp is mostly customers asking questions, or if you're outside India. The dollar list is $45 to $99 before a chatbot, and the AI agent that answers people is another $99, so a business that wants its inbox handled is at $144 to $198 a month plus Meta's fees before it has sent a single broadcast.

Replai compared

Replai is for that inbox-first business. It pairs to the WhatsApp number you already have as a linked device, the way WhatsApp Web does, so there's no API application, no business verification and no per-message fee from Meta or anyone else. Plans are a flat $19, $49 or $99 a month with the AI included: Starter covers 120 conversations a cycle on one number, Growth 300 across up to three numbers with outbound campaigns and image captions, Pro 600 across up to five. A conversation is up to five bot replies in one thread; a top-up of 100 is $9, or $8 on Growth and $7 on Pro. The Jaipur brand's 200-conversation month fits Growth at $49; the 1,000-conversation month is Pro plus four top-ups at the Pro rate, $127.

The limits are real. Replai doesn't give you the blue tick, doesn't send Meta-approved broadcast templates to thousands, and runs on an unofficial WhatsApp library, so a ban risk exists that AiSensy's official route doesn't carry. Replai's warm-up and per-hour and per-day limits reduce that risk; nothing removes it. If broadcasting is your business, AiSensy's rupee list is hard to beat. If answering customers is, the 7-day trial at replai.pm needs no card.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in AiSensy's free plan?

Free Forever gives you the WhatsApp Business API through AiSensy with no procurement fee, a blue tick application, 1,000 Meta ad credits, a small message credit, unlimited service conversations, the click-to-WhatsApp ads manager, unlimited contacts, templates and a live chat dashboard. It does not include broadcasting, a chatbot or the AI agent.

Does AiSensy include a chatbot or an AI agent?

Neither is in any plan. The drag-and-drop chatbot builder is $80 a month for five chatbots and the AI agent builder is $99 a month with 3,500 AI messages, both charged on top of any plan, including the free tier. A business that wants its inbox answered lands at $144 to $198 a month plus Meta's fees.

Does AiSensy charge more than Meta per message?

Yes, for Indian numbers. Its published rates sit about 26 percent above Meta's own rate card in every charged category, marketing, utility and authentication alike, while service replies inside the 24-hour window stay free on both. Rates for numbers outside India are not published on the pricing page, so ask before you budget.

Is AiSensy a good fit for answering inbound questions?

Less so. Its strength is broadcasting, retargeting and click-to-WhatsApp ads on the official API, where the plan fee is small next to message volume. If your WhatsApp is mostly customers asking questions, you pay $45 to $99 for a campaign engine, then $99 more for the AI agent that answers them.
