WhatsApp for aircond, plumbing and home services

Service prices, coverage areas and next available slots answered while your technicians are on a job. Emergencies and quotes that need a site visit go straight to a person.

Quick answer

A home services assistant on WhatsApp quotes fixed-price jobs such as servicing per unit or a standard install, confirms whether you cover an address, offers the slots you keep in its notes, and writes each booking to a Google Sheet. Leaks, sparks, burning smells and anything needing a site visit go to a person with the address attached.

  • Fixed-price jobs are quoted from your list; site-visit jobs are never given a figure.
  • Emergencies get the one safety instruction you write, then a person, immediately.
  • Photos and voice notes of the fault are read and logged with the job.
  • Bookings become a morning route sheet: name, address, job type, agreed time.

  1. How much to service 2 aircon units? I'm in the north side21:14
  2. Chemical wash is $60 per unit, standard servicing $35 per unit, so $70 for two. The north side is covered, no call-out fee. Tomorrow 10am or 3pm?21:14
  3. 3pm. One unit isn't cooling at all21:16
  4. 3pm requested for 2 units, and dispatch confirms the technician shortly. I'll note the one that isn't cooling so the technician checks the gas and compressor on site. Address and unit number please?21:16

Every enquiry that shows intent lands in a sheet with the name, number and what they asked.

Every home-services business runs on one WhatsApp number and one problem: the person who can answer it is on a ladder. Air-conditioning servicing, plumbing, electrical, pest control, cleaning. The enquiries arrive while the team is working, and the ones you miss go to whoever replied first.

Why home-services WhatsApp is different

Urgency is the whole market. The MIT lead response study found that calling a web lead within five minutes rather than thirty makes contact 100 times more likely, and qualification 21 times more likely (InsideSales.com/MIT Lead Response Management Study, 2007). When the air conditioner has stopped, that curve is steeper still: the customer books the first company that gives a price and a time.

The questions are simple but urgent. "How much to service two units?", "do you cover the north side?", "can someone come today?". Customers want a price and a time, and they want it now, because the air conditioner is not cooling and it is 34 degrees outside. A reply an hour later is a reply to someone who already booked elsewhere. The trap is answering them yourself from the ladder, which is how jobs get done badly and messages get answered worse.

What can a WhatsApp bot handle for a home services business?

Give the assistant your price list, coverage areas, call-out fees, the slots you keep open, and what customers should prepare. It answers from that list on the number you already use, in the customer's language.

Next available slotThe times you keep in its notes

A booking becomes a row in your Google Sheet: name, address, job type, the customer's photos and the time agreed. Your technicians start the day from the sheet, not from a scroll through last night's chats.

What should stay with a person?

Two things never get an automated answer. Emergencies: a leak, a spark, a burning smell, water near electrics. The assistant gives the one safety instruction you write for it, such as turning off the main valve or the breaker, then hands the chat to a person with the address attached. And quotes that need eyes on site: a full rewiring, a bathroom, a leak inside a wall. There it collects the address, photos and a description, and tells the customer a person will confirm the price. It does not guess a figure it will have to walk back.

An evening with it switched on

A landlord messages at 8pm: three units in a rented flat, tenants complaining, can you come this week. The assistant quotes the per-unit price, confirms the area, offers Thursday 10am and Friday 2pm, and asks for the address and the tenant's number. Booked, logged, done. Ten minutes later someone sends a photo of water dripping from a ceiling light. The assistant tells them to switch off the breaker for that room, asks for the address, and pings you. That one you call back yourself.

Set up in 10 minutes

Scan the QR from the dashboard with the phone that holds your business number. Paste your prices, areas, slots and the emergency instruction. Message the number from another phone with a real question from last week and read the answer. Fix anything vague. From then on it answers new customers; your existing chats and supplier threads stay untouched until you decide otherwise.

Frequently asked questions

Can a WhatsApp bot give a price for an aircond service or a plumbing job?

For jobs with a fixed price, yes: servicing per unit, chemical wash, a standard tap or heater install. Paste your price list and it quotes from it. For anything that needs a site visit it says so, collects the address and photos, and passes it to your team for a quote.

What happens with an emergency like a burst pipe?

The assistant is told that leaks, sparks, burning smells and flooding are emergencies. It gives the safety step you write for it, such as turning off the main valve or breaker, and hands the chat to a person immediately with the address attached.

Can customers send photos of the problem?

Yes. Replai reads photos and voice notes. A customer can send a picture of the unit or the leak and a voice note describing it, and the assistant uses both to log the job for your technician.

Do I need a new number or the WhatsApp Business API?

No. It pairs to the number you already print on your van and flyers, by QR, the same way WhatsApp Web does. There is no application to Meta and no per-message fee; plans start at $19 a month with the AI included and a 7-day trial that needs no card.
